A.R.Rahman wins the Golden Globe Award

A.R.Rahman wins Golden Globe Award for the movie “Slumdog Millionaire” directed by British Director Danny Boyle. A.R.Rahman is the first “Hindustani” to win the Golden Globe Award.

Slumdog Millionaire won for Best-Picture Drama, best director award for Danny Boyle & Best Screenplay award for Simon Beaufoy for 2008 Golden Globe Awards.
A.R.Rahman also won Satellite Award for Slumdog Millionaire and also Best picture drama & Best Director.

Slumdog Millionaire also won two awards from Los Angeles Film Critics Association for best music again to Rahman & Director to Danny.
Slumdog Millionaire also won runner up prize for Best Cinematography for Anthony DOD Mantle.

After Rahman get the Award, he said the Award goes for My India not for me.
He said it’s a Big thing for me and my country and he hope the Song Jai ho from Slumdog Millionaire should win the Oscar Award too.
